How a morning goes

Set it at night. Wake up to a sip.

  1. Tonight

    The Sleepy Sip new-alarm screen set to 6:30 AM on weekdays, with Gus Gus curled up asleep saying “I'll be there. Mostly asleep.”

    Set it while you're sensible.

    Pick a time, pick your days, and pick how you'll prove you're up in the morning.

  2. 6:30 AM

    The Sleepy Sip screen after scanning the water code: “Alarm off.” Gus Gus drinks from his jar and says “Now take a sip.”

    Go to your water.

    It rings through Silent mode and Focus, like the Clock app, and Stop only buys you a minute. Scan the code by your water (or drink on camera) and it's off. Then you and Gus Gus have a sip.

  3. 6:31 AM

    The Sleepy Sip “You're up.” screen: Gus Gus sits awake beside his jar, “One sip down. Finish the glass with me?” and “5 mornings in a row.”

    One sip and you're up.

    The alarm is off for good. Gus Gus wakes up with you and asks if you'll finish the glass together. That part's up to you.

Every way to turn it off leads to your water. Choose one per alarm.

Don't have water one morning? Don't worry. There's an emergency stop for those.

  • Drink checkI watch you take a sip on camera.The front camera watches you lift your water and take one sip. In low light it takes a photo of you mid-sip instead.
  • Scan my waterScan your code, then sip on trust.Scan any barcode or QR code you keep by your water, or print a card from the app. Then take a sip; Gus Gus takes your word for it.
  • Scan, then drink checkScan to stop me, then I watch you sip.The scan turns the alarm off. The camera check is for your streak.

Keep it up and wake the whole crew.

Gus Gus is the one you start with. Every morning you're up counts, and as they add up a new creature wakes up, picked at random.

Keep a streak going with your creature and it earns accessories too. There's always someone left to wake.
